Natalie Roehlk joined Summit Healthcare Association as Privacy Officer in November 2019, overseeing privacy for Summit Regional Medical Center and Summit Healthcare Medical Associates clinics throughout northern Arizona.
Before joining Summit, she was a Project Manager with the Arizona Medicaid program, AHCCCS, from 2017 - 2019. Natalie was the Director of Compliance and Contracting and HIPAA Privacy Officer for Symbius Medical from 2010 - 2017, overseeing all compliance and contracting activities at the corporate level. From 1998 - 2010, Natalie was an Advocate, Information & Referral Supervisor, and Coordinator of the federal Protection and Advocacy for Assistive Technology (PAAT) grant for the Arizona Center for Disability Law, working in the areas of healthcare and assistive technology, the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), Arizonans With Disabilities Act (AzDA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504), the Air Carrier Access Act (ACAA), and the federal and state Fair Housing Acts (FHA). During her career, Natalie obtained numerous settlements and favorable outcomes in civil rights cases, and championed the rights of her clients in all levels of appeal, including administrative hearings, to ensure clients receive the health care devices and services they need.
She serves on the board of Happy Tails Service Dogs, and has provided numerous community outreach presentations to agencies such as the Brain Injury Association of Arizona, the Hearing Loss Association of America, and appeared as a speaker at the AzTAP Annual Assistive Technology Conferences. She obtained her education at Phoenix Community College and the Arizona Institute of Business and Technology.
